Motorstoring zelf uitlezen
Je kunt de foutcode op de volgende manier uitlezen. Je moet je diagnose stekker uit het houdertje halen. Deze stekker zit bij de bijrijderskant onder de motorkap, naast de luidspreker voor het alarm.
Dan pak je een paperclip en verbuig deze een beetje. Voor het uitlezen van een storing, druk het ene uiteinde in pin A en het andere in pin B. Let op dat je het clipje boven houdt.
Dan ga je achter het stuur zitten en zet je contact aan. Het motorstorings lampje begint nu te knipperen. Elke code wordt 3x achter elkaar gegeven. Het begin is altijd code 12, dus 1x - pauze - 2x. Hierna worden de foutcodes uitgelezen. Als er geen foutcode in het systeem zit, krijg je weer 3x code 12.

Dus hij begint met code 12, daarna zal hij een code 31 aangeven, maar dat is normaal, krijg je nog meer codes dan kan er iets mis zijn en kan je het in de lijst hieronder opzoeken.
